Jakarta, July 17, 2025 – In response to information circulating about the relocation of several regular flight schedules from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (HLP) to Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK) starting August 1, 2025, the management of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport clarifies that the reduction in flight schedules is aimed at improving airport facilities and enhancing passenger service comfort.

This move is part of the airport’s operational facility arrangement program, intended to increase service capacity. The flight schedule adjustments apply to select frequencies on certain routes.

These adjustments are a preventive measure to accommodate the need for facility and infrastructure improvements. Once the service upgrades are completed, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport is expected to have enhanced service capacity. The airlines involved in this schedule adjustment are Batik Air and Citilink.

Halim Perdanakusuma Airport is holding Junior level PKP-PK Certification and Basic AMC Certification activities in 2023.

The activity took place on 09 October - 28 November 2023 at the PKP-PK Building, attended by 11 PKP-PK personnel and 6 AMC personnel. This activity presented 2 instructors from the Jakarta Aviation Polytechnic, namely Bagus Ramadhana Saragih and Julfan Handrianto.

In the exam which was held for 48 days, the PKP-PK Team was assessed in terms of skills and readiness to deal with emergencies that could occur at any time in the airport environment.
